You will be swept into the depths of nature as you're taken on a guided walk through primary Atlantic rain-forest, considered one of the richest ecosystems of our planet. There are various trails on offer, but the most popular takes you to the banks of the river on a track of approximately 2 kilometres, crossing through primary rain-forest while your guide interprets the local ecosystem, pointing out native species and medicinal plants along the way.

At the end of the walk you'll be offered a refreshing dip in a fresh water swimming hole, with a little wooden deck to lie in the sun and appreciate the beautiful natural surroundings of the reserve around you.

Note: Refreshments included. This excursion can be done as a half day or a full day with lunch included. Guides speak Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Transport: Transfer by car, half hour drive to the reserve.
